About us...

The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is an interdisciplinary research centre of the University of Luxembourg. We conduct fundamental and translational research in the field of Systems Biology and Biomedicine - in the lab, in the clinic and in silico. We focus on neurodegenerative processes and are especially interested in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease and their contributing factors.

The LCSB recruits talented scientists from various disciplines: computer scientists, mathematicians, biologists, chemists, engineers, physicists and clinicians from more than 50 countries currently work at the LCSB. We excel because we are truly interdisciplinary and together we contribute to science and society.

Your Role...

Bioinformatics Core group of LCSB is involved in the development of tools and services for the data life cycle in translational medicine research. We partner in various national and international clinical research initiatives, including Horizon and IHI-funded projects, and serve as a co-host of the ELIXIR-Luxembourg node. We are looking for a scientific full stack developer to support research data management, data engineering, and data science tasks. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clinical researchers and data scientists to explore, combine, visualize, access, and analyse biological datasets across clinical research domains such as neurodegeneration, aging, immunology, and infectious diseases. Additionally, you will contribute to open-source software development for both in-house and ELIXIR projects. You will also contribute in the open-source software development for both in-house projects as well as ELIXIR projects.
