Anatolia American University-ULE is seeking a full-time Psychology faculty member to cover its immediate needs. The position is open to all faculty ranks dependent upon individual qualifications. The term of the appointment is for one year starting September 1, 2026 with the intention to be renewable upon agreement of all parties.

The successful candidate will provide the expertise and academic leadership that supports the Psychology curriculum, develop and deliver courses following accepted higher education standards, teach and advise students, supervise theses, and engage students through a variety of effective teaching methodologies.
Special emphasis is placed on expertise in brain-behavior relationships, neurological disorders, neuropsychological assessment and intervention, psychopharmacology as well as on the candidate’s experience in attracting and managing funded research at national and international levels.
The faculty member is also expected to contribute to the academic and administrative development of the Psychology program under the guidance of the Coordinator of the Psychology program at Anatolia American University-ULE.

Qualifications
Educational Background
A doctoral degree (PhD) in Neuropsychology or a closely related field is required.
Demonstrated academic background in neuropsychology, psychopharmacology, or related areas. A strong record of scholarly publications in peer‑reviewed journals, edited volumes, or conference proceedings. Proven experience in course development and curriculum design in higher education.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Teaching and Professional Experience
For a senior faculty appointment, a minimum of five (5) years of university‑level teaching experience or other relevant academic or research experience is required. Teaching experience at a US‑accredited or UK higher education institution is preferred.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Human Resources Office to schedule the 1st interview appointment. Candidates who progress further in the selection process should expect to participate in more than one interview and assessment appointment, as part of a structured and staged evaluation process.
NOTE: Degrees from foreign universities outside Greece must be recognized by DOATAP. Copies of all relevant transcripts must be initially submitted with the application for consideration. Official transcripts are required at the time of employment.
