Description of the research activity:

The research focuses on the empirical examination of articles of association and other internal corporate documents of innovative Italian and foreign start-ups. The aim is to understand and analyse the internal organisational structure of these companies and the agency relationships between the founding entrepreneur and investor shareholders (private equity and venture capital funds), as well as examine structure and functioning of the VC-funds. The research methodology is innovative and requires the application of advanced statistical and digital expertise, utilising artificial intelligence systems. Similarly, when examining corporate acquisition contracts, the analysis will focus on practical application in order to understand the transactional techniques commonly employed.
