YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a researcher to work in the field of plasma medicine to investigate the effects of atmospheric plasmas on liquids. This project is focused on the investigation of plasma activated liquids (PALs) to treat cancer, employing a range of characterization techniques to study the effect of various operational parameters.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth investigations of plasma-liquid interactions by advanced optical/electrical diagnostics.
  • Explore the physicochemical properties of PALs.
  • Examination of the long-living and short-living reactive species in PALs.
  • Studying the indirect effects of PALs on cancer and healthy cells.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Physics or a Master’s degree in Plasma Engineering.
  • You are familiar with plasma technology and plasma chemical processes.
  • You have a solid background in and experience with experimental physics.
  • You have basic knowledge of spectrophotometers and colorimetry.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer you a part-time contract of definite duration: a duration of 6 months and an employment rate of 65%.
  • Your contract will start on 1/10/2024 at the earliest.
  • Your remuneration will be determined by salary scale WM1 to WM4. Click here for more information about our salary scales.
