Team Leader – Order Fulfilment & Planning

As a Team Leader for Order Fulfilment and Planning (OFP) at imec.IC-link, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the production process of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs). This position involves managing a dedicated team responsible for the entire lifecycle of ASIC manufacturing, from wafers manufacturing to the assembly of ASICs, testing, and the delivery of fully tested assembled components.

What you will do

• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of supply chain officers involved in the production of ASICs. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success in meeting production goals. 
• Oversee the work in progress, ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules and capacity allocation with the suppliers. 
• Overlook and implement effective production plans, considering factors such as forecasted demand, resource availability, and lead times. Coordinate with various suppliers to ensure seamless workflow from wafer manufacturing to assembly and testing of ASICs. 
• Enforce quality assurance measures throughout the production process by working with quality assurance teams.  
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Implement best practices to enhance the overall productivity of the team and manufacturing processes. 
• Foster strong collaboration with other teams, including R&D, engineering, and customer support, to address challenges and streamline communication for successful project execution.

Who you are

• You possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, industrial Engineering or a related discipline with 5-10 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles within the semiconductor industry. 
• You have leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role, overseeing a team involved in supply chain operations. 
• You have a strong understanding of ASIC manufacturing processes, from wafer manufacturing to assembly and testing. 
• You are familiar with the unique challenges and requirements of the semiconductor industry, including knowledge of cleanroom environments, wafer fabrication, packaging technologies, and testing of ASICs. 
• You possess excellent team leading, organizational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders and ensure on-time delivery. 
• You are able to analyze complex supply chain issues, identify root causes, implement effective solutions, and to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
