Research Activities

  • Conduct research on the impact of climate and human activities on the water cycle, particularly with regard to the observation, modeling, and forecasting of water resources;
  • Contribute to the study of extreme events (rainfall, Cévennes floods, low water levels in mountain rivers) and their physical, conceptual, or statistical modeling;
  • Participate in the DREAM research project and the team’s observatories and research platforms, in collaboration with national and international academic and industrial partners.

Technology Commercialization and Transfer Activities

  • Contribute to the development and promotion of IMT Mines Alès’s industrial contacts within the economic ecosystem;

  • Engage at the regional or national level to develop collaborative “Research/Industry” projects in the field of coordinated water resource management or the reuse of water from all sources;
  • Carry out, within your scientific and technical areas of expertise, initiatives designed to support companies or the school’s incubator in order to foster the creation of spin-offs and the development of technology-based companies.
