Job description

The work consists of providing academic supervision for primarily Master's degree thesis projects in Computer Science. This is a temporary position at 30-50% during six months (the percentage and duration may be adjusted depending on starting date). The position will be placed at the Division of Theoretical Computer Science or The Division of Software and Computer Systems or the Division of Speech, Music and Hearing.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate (second cycle) degree in the research subject or equivalent competence,
  • own prior experiences of writing scientific reports,
  • an excellent ability to read and comment technical English,
  • Awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality
  • a solid knowledge in Computer Science, from prior education and/or previous work experiences,
  • an excellent ability to independently structure and carry out work.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experiences of teaching and/or supervision of students' project work, knowledge in machine learning and deep learning, language technology, industrial economics, as well as completed third-cycle (doctoral) education are meritorious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.

About the employment

The employment is part-time (30-50%) and is valid for a limited time according to an agreement until 2025-06-30, with access according to agreement.
