Job description

We are looking for one research engineer to work up to six months with machine learning methods and research in projects that are ongoing in the RPL department. The duties include supporting the ongoing project, such as (but not limited to) training machine learning models, implementing baselines, and preparing datasets for machine learning research.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A graduate degree or an advanced level (higher education) in the research subject or equivalent competence. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with AI frameworks like PyTorch, Tensorflow and/or JAX; 
  • Fluent in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, because it is required in the daily work.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with processing physiological data (e.g., EEG, fMRI, MEG);
  • Experience setting up, training and deploying large-scale machine learning models;
  • You have awareness of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality.
  • As a person, you find it easy to work independently while also working well in a group.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal skills.
