A World-Class Research Environment The LSM brings together the Faculty of Biology, the Faculty of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmacy, and the Medical Faculty of LMU — all ranked among Germany's top institutions in biology and biochemistry. Together with the LMU Gene Center and the University Hospital (LMU Klinikum), the LSM is part of the HighTechCampus Großhadern-Martinsried, a globally recognised hub for cutting-edge life sciences research south of Munich.
