The synthesized materials will subsequently be applied in catalysis and adsorption in large scale. The candidate will primarily focus on extracting and purifying metals from an inorganic matrix by-product, which will then be utilized in MOF synthesis. The material synthesis will involve wet chemistry and other well-established solid-state methods.

Required qualifications:

The candidate must hold a PhD degree in Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, or related disciplines with strong experience in MOFs and materials synthesis. Experience in catalysis and adsorption is also required.

The candidate should have demonstrated experience in undertaking independent research, managing research activities of Master and supervising PhD students. Fluency in English as well as a proven ability to write scientific articles are also mandatory.
