We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically minded Scientific Coordinator to play a key role at the interface of science, management, and organizational development. In this position, you will work closely with executive leadership to shape the strategic direction of the organization, ensure alignment with our vision and mission, and drive excellence in scientific coordination and reporting.

Your future tasks include:

  • Support the CEO and Division Heads towards strategy, positioning of SAL, and ensuring consistency and coherence with our vision and mission
  • Support the Leadership Team in creation of business plans, assessment of investment decisions and strategic planning of economic matters and provide managing directors with reports
  • Ownership of SAL´s (scientific) reporting  
  • Coordinate and steer across all SAL divisions and locations the preparation of board level meetings and presentations, reports, reviews and events
  • Organization and moderation of diverse workshops related to technical, strategical and  organizational development topics

Your profile:

  • University degree in an ESBS related field (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Physics) and/or Innovation Management
  • 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in an R&D environment
  • Experience in strategy development and business planning
  • Excellent language skills in German and English
  • Project management, presentation, and moderation skills
  • Profound understanding of team dynamics, consensus orientation, can-do attitude 

An advantage for the position:

  • Leadership experience, specifically in lateral leadership (i.e. without formal authority)

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) starting in occupational group E. For this position we offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your experience and qualifications, starting with a minimum gross salary of EUR 65.000 (annual, based on an All-in contract).
