Research-teaching Assistant

Faculty of Psychology in Cracow

Duties:
- performing teaching duties for full-time and part-time students in the field of psychology, both in Polish and English, according to the schedule
- preparing and executing documentation of classes: syllabuses, evaluations, archiving student work
- developing the content and scenarios of classes
- coordinating the work of other lecturers in preparing classes
- cooperating with the faculty coordinator
- taking care of the development of teaching competencies by participating in internal trainings organized by both the department and the university, e.g., during the Week of Teaching Competencies
- acquiring and implementing scientific and research projects
- conducting scientific activities and publishing their results
- participation in faculty meetings
- readiness to perform assigned functions and organizational tasks at the Faculty
- organizing and participating in undertakings carried out by the University, the Faculty and the Institute
- participating in activities promoting the University, the Faculty and the Institute
- representing the University, Faculty and Institute in environmental bodies
Requirements:
- possession of a master's degree in psychology
- min. 1 year of experience in teaching at a university such as lectures, exercises, workshops or graduate seminars or experience in conducting professional trainings, workshops and trainings
- teaching and research interests in the field of psychology
- fluent knowledge of Polish
- fluent knowledge of English
- computer proficiency and willingness to learn new applications
- declaration of employment at SWPS University as the primary place of work
- readiness to teach also on weekends

Formal criteria:
- academic achievements - 20% of the final score
- teaching achievements - 50% of the final score
- organizational or practical achievements - 30% of the final score
