This is a two year full-time contract that can be renewed twice to reach a six year period. The job has a research facet and a teaching facet. Each facet approximately corresponds to a half-time.
From the research point of view, the applicant will preferably work along one of the research directions of the SAAS or QuIC teams.
The applicant should aim at completing a PhD in 6 years maximum.
From the teaching point of view, the job mainly consists in preparing and supervising student projects and exercise sessions for the following courses:
MATH-H3001 : Signaux et Systèmes (30-30-0)
MATH-H302 : Introduction à l’analyse complexe et au calcul numérique (partim 12-12-0)
MATH-H2000 : Analyse II (partim 24-24-0)
Required title
The applicant must hold a master degree in 120 credits in engineering sciences and he/she must fulfill the rules for access to the PhD.
Skills required
The applicant will have both excellent teaching skills and an excellent mastery of mathematics (analysis, complex analysis, integral transforms) and of dynamic system theory. They should work with autonomy and rigor. They should be ready to collaborate within the teams of the QuIC and SAAS departments, and to take part in collaborations at the national and international level so that they can contribute effectively to the research works.
They should have a level of proficiency in French and English corresponding to the level C1 at least.
