Temporary Employment fixed-term employment for the period of 4 years
Your Responsibilities
Writing a dissertation in the field of civil/commercial/business law relating to digitization (e.g. web3, AI, online-platforms, rights in data, IP)
Independent research in the field of civil and business law
Participation in research and publications of the section Law and IT (Prof. Dr. Martin Miernicki)
Participation in research projects
Independent teaching and participation in teaching and examination tasks
Assisting students
Participation in organizational and administrative tasks, as well as evaluation measures
Your Profile
Completed diploma or master's degree in law
Excellent knowledge in civil law and/or commercial/business law
Interest in researching issues related to digitization
Ability to conduct independent research work
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
Very good IT skills
Previous experience of working at the university (e.g. as a student assistant, project assistant etc.) desirable
High degree of scientific motivation and goal orientation as well as scientific curiosity
Very good communication and teamwork skills, social competence (ability to deal with conflict, willingness to cooperate and learn, intercultural competence)

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52,007.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
