Law faculty positions at the University of Limassol

The University of Limassol (UoL) is seeking to recruit  academic  lawyers to fill faculty member positions (Teaching & Research faculty) in the following disciplines: 

• Associate Professor or (Full) Professor in Criminal Law.

• Assistant Professor in European and/or Private Law.

Category: full-time.

Estimated starting date: Upon the establishment of the Department of Law and the Law Degree (between September 2025 and January 2026).

Salary and benefits: internationally competitive remuneration package, depending on academic rank, qualifications and experience.

The University of Limassol is in the process of establishing a Department of Law and, to start with, to offer a Bachelor of Law programme providing a competitive law degree with all the academic and professional skills required by the profession and the labour market. Responsibilities: 

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of expertise and/or related fields. 
• Develop and deliver conventional and distance  learning courses and programs. 
• Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students for dissertation work. 
• Research publication programme in world-class research journals. 
• Securing external funding for research activities. 
• Contributing to University objectives such as leading curricula

Qualifications required: Candidates must hold a PhD degree from an accredited university and have expertise in at least one of the above-mentioned disciplines. Excellent oral and written knowledge of both Greek and English are required. The successful candidate must have a strong record of publications and a commitment to high quality research through publications in international journals and examples of teaching excellence and academic program development.
