Your role

Under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Abankwa, the biological laboratory technician will work in the Cancer Cell Biology and Drug Discovery group. The candidate will be in charge of:

  • Contributing to cell/ biochemical experiments in research projects
  • Full management of the research lab (ordering, archiving, maintenance)

Your profile

  • Minimal degree: Bachelor's in biology/ biochemistry or related field
  • Previous professional experience as biological laboratory technician in a research laboratory
  • Strong expertise in laboratory management. Skills in cell proliferation assays, molecular cloning are a must, additional knowledge with confocal microscopy and protein purification are a plus
  • Autonomous experiment planning, execution and analysis
  • Full command of MS Office software, GraphPad Prism, SnapGene; Quick IT learner
  • Fluent in English (French and/ or German are an asset)
