Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Pūkenga - Lecturer or Pūkenga Matua - Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science, particularly in areas such as immunology and/or microbiology. This is a permanent, full-time position.
The appointee will be involved in developing, administering, and teaching into our undergraduate and postgraduate biomedical courses. There will be an expectation to contribute to grow our biomedical programme, as well as supervise postgraduate students. A desire to establish or maintain a research programme, attract external research funding, and foster collaborative research environments is expected. We value candidates who have established, or aim to develop, cross-disciplinary collaborations that incorporate our unique place in Aotearoa and the Pacific.
