 With over 5,100 staff members and around 41,000 students, we are a big institution with even bigger ambitions. We are proud to be an integral part of the great city of Manchester, but our impact reaches around the globe. Currently, we offer more than 350 undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes and have 14 centres of research expertise.

Now, we are making a significant investment in realising our objectives to excel in education and to build on our research reputation. And 91% of our research impact is world leading or internationally excellent (REF 2021), that’s consistently in the top five for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, and where research improves lives.
