The Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Eastern and Southern Norway (RBUP) is a foundation established in 1998 by the Ministry of Health and Care Services.
RBUP conducts research and provides post-graduate training. Our vision is to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
The primary objective of the center is to strengthen the quality of mental health services relevant to children and youth. This is achieved by developing, disseminating, and implementing clinically-relevant, multidisciplinary, and scientific knowledge about child and adolescent mental health.

RBUP currently comprises a core group of about 60 persons, including teaching and research faculty, postdoctoral fellows, PhD students, and administrative staff. RBUP consists of the Department of Education, the Department of Research, the Network for Infant Mental Health and an administrative department.
