The University of Urbino, the ideal Renaissance city, dates back to 1506 and is well-known for its lively and stimulating campus-town perfectly suited for student life and for research. Today the University of Urbino is a State University, is structured in 6 Departments and has about 15,000 students, both Italian and foreign. It offers students and scholars a wide range of courses and research opportunities, mainly in pure and applied science, humanities and social sciences.
