Job description
- At least 90% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation
- You will process and analyze functional magnetic resonance imaging data acquired by our research partners with both standard and innovative protocols
- You will contribute to computational models of the BOLD signal and of the hemodynamic response
- You will disseminate your scientific results by means of, among others, papers, presentations, code repositories
- You will take part in departmental activities, which might include teaching and exam supervision, for a limited percentage of time
Job profile
- You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g. mathematics/physics/engineering), and/or you are familiar with coding and data analysis regardless of the topic of your Master’s degree
- You are passionate about science
- You like to work in group
What we offer you
- We offer a full-time position as a doctoral fellow, consisting of an initial period of 12 months, which - after a positive evaluation, will be extended to a total maximum of 48 months.
- Your contract will start on 01/09/2025 at the earliest, and ideally not later than 1/12/2025.
- The fellowship amount is 100% of the net salary of an AAP member in equal family circumstances. The individual fellowship amount is determined by Team Personnel Administration based on family status and seniority. A grant that meets the conditions and criteria of the regulations for doctoral fellowships is considered free of personal income tax. More information about our salary scales
