The PhD position will be situated within the Soft Matter, Rheology and Technology division, Centre for Industrial Process Technology and Polymer Processing Engineering lab, located on the Diepenbeek campus. We seek a motivated candidate with a MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, strong academic performance, and a passion for polymers and recycling. Knowledge and experience with polyolefins, polymer characterization techniques, and polymer recycling will be considered highly advantageous for this position. Proficiency in English (both written and verbal) for scientific communication is essential. Strong motivation and the ability to conduct independent research are crucial elements.
The successful candidate will be offered a PhD fellowship to join our team and pursue a PhD degree. This full-time position has an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extension based on candidate’s performance. The ultimate goal is to obtain the PhD within four years period.
