Job Description

Full-time teaching assistant position for the first year general physics courses of the École polytechnique de Bruxelles and the École de Bioingéniérie de Bruxelles. Supervision of the exercises and practical work (laboratories) of physics and introduction to applied sciences.  Supervision and correction of exams and laboratory exams. This job offers the opportunity to make a PhD thesis in engineering sciences or sciences.

Skills required 

  • • Good knowledge of physics taught in the first year of engineering studies.
  • • Comfort in solving physics problems in the first year of engineering studies.
  • • Interest in pedagogy and preferably have concrete experience teaching physics and/or mathematics at BA1 level.
  • • Creativity and initiative.
  • • Fluency in writing and formatting educational documents.
  • • Autonomy, reliability and motivation.
  • • Strong interest in teaching.
  • • Excellent communication skills.
