What you will do

Imec IC-link is imec’s rapidly growing ASIC services division. We are helping customers to design chips and bring them to the prototype and the mass production stage in collaboration with wafer foundries and other suppliers. Imec is a qualified TSMC VCA partner and offers state of the art design and fabrication services to fabless companies and system houses. Imec.IClink is globally active; in order to support our sales teams we are presently looking for a Business support Officer.

You’ll become part of a Business Development group that operates worldwide. You will closely work with our customers and internal stakeholders to support the administrative tasks. You will take up a key-role in monitoring customer projects and making sure customer data is complete, consistent, accurate and up to date in our CRM (Customer Relations Management) database.

In this job, your main activities will be:

  • Interact with customers and monitor the status of their projects.
  • Understand the high-level technical content and business strategy of the Imec ICLINK activities to communicate effectively with our customers and suppliers
  • Ensure that the relevant information is distributed towards the internal and external stakeholders like status of purchase order, export control documents and other relevant data.
  • Initiate and manage the introduction of efficient and simple business and administrative processes
  • Enter correctly and in a timely manner data in the CRM (Customer Relations Management) system.
  • Execute predefined and ad-hoc controls to reduce data integrity issues and improve data quality
  • Track customer portfolio / sales metrics and report them to Business Development Managers
  • Perform other administrative responsibilities and duties when assigned
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects on requests

Who you are

  • Master’s degree or equivalent by experience in Commercial Engineering, Business Administration, or another relevant field.
  • You can deal with changing circumstances and requirements and have by nature the ability to implement efficient and simple processes
  • You are a team player with a strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
  • You work proactive and have a structured and detail-oriented way of working
  • In our international environment being fluent in the English language is mandatory
  • You are passionate about data in the context of databases.
  • Willing to further gain insight in the Imec technology and environment.
