The Information Management Unit at the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Bern is dedicated to the opportunities and challenges of digitalization in business, society, and administration.

We are looking for a committed candidate to strengthen our team at the earliest possible date. The position is part of an interdisciplinary project funded by the SNSF on the possibilities of intelligent, data-driven decision support in the field of legal tech. The project is also integrated into the Research Centre "Law and Digitalization" (https://www.digitallaw.unibe.ch).

Tasks

• You actively and responsibly develop an ambitious research project
• You publish scientific findings at internationally recognized conferences as well as in leading journals
• You supervise courses and support the Institute's work

Requirements

• An excellent Master's degree from an accredited university, preferably in information systems, business administration with a technical focus, or a comparable course of study
• High interest in research in the field of information systems
• High aspiration for delivering excellent results
• Flexible, autonomous, and structured working style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as creativity
• Excellent German and/or English skills
